The CH701 QBK is assembled from the same high quality parts as the standard kit.
The only difference is the level of pre-fabrication.
All interior surfaces are primed with an epoxy primer. All steel parts are powder coated. The wing struts are primed and ready for assembly and paint.
The fuselage is completely assembled. The landing gear and wheels are on the fuselage. The flap control assembly and aileron bellcranks are installed. The control stick assembly is in place. You must attach and align the wing, wing struts, and horizontal stab. You need to install your doors , front windshield and top window. Rudder pedals, Control cables, fuel system and electrical are the responsibility of the owner.
The wings have been jig built. They are completely assembled with standard fuel tanks installed. The leading edge slat mounts have been fabricated, aligned, and installed on the ribs. Conduit for Nav/Strobe electrical is mounted in the wing.
The fiberglass tip is left un-riveted.
The leading edge slats are jig built and finished. They are ready join and mount on the wing.
The flaperons are built and must be joined and hinged..
The horizontal stabilizer and elevators are built. The electric trim option is included.
You must build your rudder from the supplied kit. (If you already have purchased and constructed your rudder, you can deduct $300 from the price of the kit.
All necessary components are included (wheels, landing gear, doors, etc) to complete the airframe in approximately 250 hours.
